Hey everyone! I am back and after listing my goals for the year… Let’s just say 2018 you were never ready. Being vegan is not as boring as it sounds and i plan to share recipes of what i eat in a day following a plant based diet. I still cook for my family (they are not vegan ) therefore I’ll continue to blog recipes that contains meat and other animal based products.
For a lazy moring breakfast, a glass of high protein smoothie packed with vitamins and nutrients is the way to go.
This morning pausing my favourite movie to cook oatmeal was not an option at all. I used Biogen Vegan Pro plant based high protein supplement powder (chocolate flavoured) in this recipe but you may use any chocolate flavoured protein powder of your choice.
1/4 cup blueberries
2 scoops Vegan protein powder (chocolate flavour)
1 cup spinach
160mls woolworths organic unsweetened soya milk
1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
Combine all ingredients in a blender
Blend until your desired texture
Add in ice cubes or use frozen blueberries (optional)
